Academic Summer on the global stage: showcasing excellence at education fairs
One of the things that sets Academic Summer apart is our strong connection with global partners, achieved through active participation in international education fairs. These study abroad events allow us to share the transformative experiences our summer camps provide while building meaningful relationships with agents, educators and families worldwide.
Our global connections enhance the multicultural spirit of our camps, providing students with unique opportunities for academic and personal growth. Whether future doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs or coders, our students benefit from a programme designed to inspire and challenge them while giving them a taste of British education at its best.
Academic Summer therefore is often represented at Education fairs in several different countries. These recently included:
- Eduexpo (Bratislava, Slovakia);
- Quality English Workshop (Bangkok, Thailand);

Highlights of recent international education fairs
Our CEO, Helen Lami recently attended the Baltic Council for International Education - Polska for Secondary Education fair in Warsaw, Poland where she was warmly welcomed by Kamila Ostrowska and Monika Wojtachnio. This event was filled with enthusiasm for learning, adventure and improving Applied English alongside interest in career pathways like medicine, entrepreneurship, and robotics and coding.
In addition, Helen represented Academic Summer at the World Education Fair in Bucharest, Romania, hosted by IntegralEdu, and the Eduexpo in Bratislava, Slovakia. These events provide valuable platforms to showcase our unique blend of academic excellence and adventurous learning.
Of course, Academic Summer has a wide-reaching international team who travel extensively to attend study and travel expos. Our Head of Admissions Betty Ho was at the Quality English Workshop in Bangkok, Thailand and is constantly engaging with prospective students, families and partners in Hong Kong. Betty also visited partners in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou to discuss the exciting opportunities Academic Summer offers for 2025. She also travelled to Taiwan and met with one of our key partners, Shenica School of English in Taipei.
Our Academic Manager, Giedre Balcytyte represented Academic Summer at the Secondary Education Fair hosted by Baltic Council for International Education in Riga, Latvia and also travelled to Prague to attend an Education Fair.
And our Head of Communications and Operations, Caroline Marshall, attended the Quality English Workshops in Milan in November 2024, meeting agents and partners to highlight the Academic Summer experience. And our Senior Manager, Francisco Bustos was in Barcelona for another Quality English Workshop further extending our global outreach and fostering international partnerships.
"At Academic Summer, we believe in creating opportunities that transcend borders, giving students from around the world the chance to experience British education at its best,” said Helen. “By attending study abroad expos and summer school showcases in diverse countries we connect with families and partners on the ground who share our vision of inspiring young minds. These events allow us to showcase not only the academic excellence of our programmes, but also the transformative adventures that help students grow academically, culturally and personally."
Welcoming international agents to London
Helen was also part of welcoming international agents from 20 countries to London in Autumn, where they had the opportunity to visit the prestigious David Game College where we host one of our Summer Camps.
“It was great to be a part this gathering of international agents where we experienced the venues, sampled meals and stayed in the boarding accommodation,” she said. “This kind of hands-on experience strengthens our agent’s ability to communicate the exceptional quality our programmes offer to prospective families.
Join us at an education fair or study and travel expo!
Education fairs are invaluable for connecting with agents and families across the globe, allowing us to promote our camps’ academic and cultural benefits. These events equip agents with the knowledge and experiences they need to effectively represent Academic Summer and inspire students to join us in the UK or Canada.
We look forward to attending more education fairs around the world, continuing to showcase the life-changing experiences Academic Summer offers. Whether you are based in Asia, Europe, or beyond, we invite you to connect with us and discover how our camps can help students reach their full potential.
